Miranda Pre-kindergarten
A state-of-the-art childcare facility located in the heart of the Sutherland Shire. This development has some contemporary inspiration that gives it an eye appeal like no other - whilst not compromising on it’s functionality. All positions for the centre were filled prior to the opening, with the facility being highly desirable to local families.
“Miranda pre-kindergarten” is a child care facility that is truly unique to the local area. The facility is able to accommodate for 49 children at one time. The many modern safety and design features will leave you to believe that this centre is leading the industry. This construction type is known as “heavy weight construction”. This enabled us to create outdoor play spaces to the first floor of the building whilst having indoor rooms below. The large span of the floor over the car park area allows for weather proof pick up and drop off zones. The childcare centre was a intricate structural project that the Boerma Brothers team worked closely with engineers to achieve the extremely large spans of the concrete to the first floor. The end result is a child care centre that is a huge asset for the local community. The Boerma Brothers team are extremely pleased to be part of a project that gives back to the community that we love so much.
